Terrence
Hill over Turan Hasanov via Unanimous Decision
The final
match saw Omar Ahmed from Sitan Gym, NY, who had
previously beaten Marc Deluca and Vishnu Gulati to
advance to the finals, against Terrence Hill of
Bellmore Kickboxing, NY, who had previously beaten
Gabriel Varga and Turan Hasanov. Hill entered the ring
still bleeding from a cut received in his first match
from a head kick by Varga but seemed more than game to
fight. With $10,000 on the line, both Hill and Ahmed
came prepared to give 100%, as if it were the first
fight of the night. In the first round, both fighters
tried to establish themselves with good, strong
techniques, trying to out-point one another throughout
the round. The second round saw Ahmed shifting more
toward combinations, keeping his power level up and
deterring Hill with solid foot jabs. Ahmed's momentum
carried over into the third round as he seemed to edge
away from Hill in all categories to successfully take
a unanimous decision and the grand prize.
Final: Omar Ahmed over Terrence Hill via
Unanimous Decision
Congratulations to Omar for the three victories that
brought him the grand prize!
