New
York, NY: February 12, 2010 With 9
Muay Thai, 4
Kickboxing, and 1
Full Contact match--not to mention two
professional main events and two WKA Northeastern
Regional title matches, Lou Neglia has won over New
York audiences yet again. You had to have been there
to see it, but we can give you some of the highlights:
New York favorite Andrea DeAngelo took on Christy
Tyquiengco, all the way from Puerto Rico, with both
competitors fighting a great fight and DeAngelo taking
a majority decision.
Kevin Molina showed his
skill and climbed up the ranks, hoping to have his
shot at a title sometime soon, beating skilled
favorite Bobby Campbell by majority decision.
WKA New Jersey State Middleweight Amateur Champion
Chul Choe moved up to a WKA Northeastern Regional
Championship, defeating Ed Stine by Unanimous
Decision.
Also on the line was the WKA
Northeastern Regional Super Lighweight Title, won by
Terence Hill via TKO at the end of round 2.
With more than 20 MMA fights, Wreck Room Athletics'
Mitch Whitesel brought his game to the ring but was
bested by New York Sensation James "B-52" Smith by TKO
at the end of the second round.
