FIGHTERS INC. WKA NORTH AMERICAN COMBAT SPORTS
CHAMPIONSHIPS
JUNE 18-20, 2010
WITH SPECIAL GUEST ROB "THE DUTCHMAN" KAMAN
REGISTER TODAY AND SAVE! Tournament
competitors will receive a special discounted rate on
the seminar!
The WKA USA's 9th year of
National & North American Championships will be held
at the brand new beautiful Boo Williams Sportsplex in
Hampton, Virginia. As always, we will bring you the
best MMA, Muay Thai, & Kickboxing action from around
the country as top amateur contenders battle their way
to the championship
in
an all-day tournament! Winners of the open class will
qualify to represent the U.S. National Team at the WKA
World Championships in Edinburgh, Scotland (click here
to read about the great experiences of the 2009
National Team during their trip to Spain!).
Every year, we try to make this an even better event.
First, we evolved from Nationals into North Americans
to open up the competition to our Canadian and Mexican
neighbors. Then we added a cage to improve the rapidly
growing MMA division. We introduced a BJJ/ submission
grappling tournament as part of the overall event as
well so that teams could bring along their best
groundfighters to compete as well. This year, due to
the talent of the youth we see at so many martial arts
academies, we are pleased to bring you JUNIORS
DIVISIONS in both K-1 and MMA!
Fighters, start
getting ready, and coaches, prepare your teams: with
over 250 competitors from more than 50 gyms all over
the country last year, we look to make this year's
tournament even bigger and even better to keep up the
WKA's reputation as the most competitive, rewarding
tournament around!
Registration is up NOW.
Between competing in the tournament, watching a great
fight show, and doing a seminar with Rob Kaman,
there's something at North Americans for everyone, so
don't forget to refer your friends and teammates,
whether they compete, train, or just love to watch the
best combative action!
